Danny Boyle's 127 Hours is an inspiring story of an outdoorsman (played by James Franco) who gets pinned underneath a rock in the middle of the desert. He must do what it takes to survive. The fact that the movie is based on a true story makes you realize how fragile life really is. The cinematography makes you feel like you are stuck right there with him. This film is visually stunning. I was anxious every second I was in the theater. You can definitely tell that this is a Danny Boyle film, but I have yet to figure out what makes a Danny Boyle movie a Danny Boyle movie. It cannot go without saying that Franco's acting in this film is utterly amazing. He may not win the oscar, but if he does not even get nominated I will be very surprised. This movie is a rollercoaster ride until the very end and probably the most "real" movie I have ever seen. This film is a must see and probably one of 2010's best.
